Frequently Asked Questions
“A problem without a solution is a problem that is ill-posed.”
What is a web workshop?
This is a training or awareness session on a topic that takes place online. A speaker leads the session via video conference, synchronously. A session generally lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours and can accommodate an average of 6 participants.
Who designs the web workshops?
What is the Practeez charter for web workshops?
Web workshops are a transformative experience. The intention is for them to be as interactive and participatory as possible, allowing participants to gain new methods and attitudes that can be applied directly to their professional lives. There is a recommended schedule that includes, among other things, the creation of connections between participants at the beginning of the session, activities, and a closing to anchor the knowledge.
What video conferencing tool is used?
We chose to use Zoom for workshops that welcome individuals who register directly. Zoom is very accessible technically and widely used by the majority of the population. However, when we conduct in-house workshops, we use the tool deployed within the organization so that the technical aspects don’t take up participants’ time.
I need technical help to connect to the session
No problem! Our role is to help you join the group. Contact us by email at hello@practeez.com
Can I keep in touch with participants after the workshop?
Of course! Participants have the opportunity to get to know each other during the session and can easily find each other on LinkedIn. We will soon be opening social media groups, open only to people who have participated in workshops.
I come from a company
Those seeking workshops tailored to their organization’s members are invited to visit our corporate page. The best way to discuss your needs is to contact us. Our goal is to co-develop a program that supports organizational transformation.
What happens during a workshop?
Upon arrival, participants are welcomed by the instructor. The instructor typically offers a theoretical introduction and then quickly moves on to practical work or discussion. There’s always a time to get to know the other participants and ask any questions you may have. Regardless, each workshop is unique!
How are the speakers selected?
Practeez selects speakers who:
- Share the values of Practeez: sustainable, human and collaborative company of tomorrow, self-improvement, evolution, empathy, co-creation
- Wish to share their expertise on one or more subjects that are close to their hearts
- Are able to take a facilitator position during the sessions: listening, adaptability, giving participants the opportunity to find their own solutions
- Want to explore new training methods, creating online experiences
- Have sufficient technical skills to facilitate smooth online training
How are the themes of the web workshops determined?
Practeez offers themes related to the business of tomorrow. We don’t have a specific model for the business of tomorrow, but rather a mindset that leans toward a humane and sustainable business. This uses collective intelligence and welcomes members in their authenticity. Therefore, the workshop themes range from innovation to personal development, including governance, collective intelligence, the economic model, and ecology. We base our work on our feelings, our analysis of organizational evolution, and the needs shared with community members.
Why do some workshops have a free conscience price?
Practeez guides individuals toward a free and responsible approach. This is why we offer a flexible funding option for some of our web workshops: voluntary and conscious participation. Participants are responsible for determining the amount of their workshop participation immediately after the session.
Free and conscious participation allows everyone to contribute according to their means, by weighing up all the criteria necessary to make a fair decision: their financial means, the quality and usefulness of the material transmitted, the quality of the welcome, the needs of the facilitators.
Participation allows in particular to cover:
- The animators’ salary. It’s what allows them to live and pay their bills.
- Practeez fees: registration platform, selection of quality speakers, potential educational contributions, and community management of speakers and learners. This is what allows Practeez to continue to exist and offer you quality web workshops.
How does the free conscience payment for certain workshops work?
- Define the amount. At the end of the web workshop, you can consider the value of what you received and define the amount you want to contribute.
- You will receive a link from Practeez to pay by credit card or Paypal.
- Once payment is made, you will receive an invoice corresponding to the amount paid.
Can I watch the replay?
A workshop is experienced in the present moment, there is no recording and therefore no replay.
We believe that the transformation and mastery of practices is optimal when one can experiment with methods or postures. Furthermore, the information shared by participants is often confidential and takes place in a framework of trust. Finally, we believe that some people would be less authentic if recorded. Therefore, no recording.
Can I offer my training courses on the Practeez platform?
